Mental Health Counselor
Full-Time or Part-Time
Schaumburg, IL or Chicago, IL
MLRA is a growing, established mental health practice providing therapy services to adults, couples, families, teens, and children. Our mission is simple: deliver outstanding, compassionate, life-changing care while continuing to grow through innovation, learning, and clinical excellence.
We are seeking empathetic, energized, and clinically strong therapists who want to build a long-term career in a supportive private practice environment. If you are passionate about client care and want to spend more time doing therapy and less time on admin, we would love to meet you.
We have immediate openings for mental health therapists who want to grow their career at an expanding private practice. We are looking for amazingly empathetic, energetic, and highly-intelligent counselors who are passionate about helping others and serious about developing their skills across a wide set of populations.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide in-person and virtual therapy to a diverse client base.
- Focus on clinical care while our digital EHR and admins handle initial scheduling, billing, insurance, and client screening.
- Maintain ethical, professional, and collaborative standards
- Participate in ongoing learning and supervision
- Enjoy flexible scheduling with minimal on-call responsibilities limited to your own clients
- Work in a modern, technology-forward environment that reduces paperwork and protects confidentiality.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Licensed or post-graduate pre-licensed in Illinois (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD)
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited program
- Direct clinical experience
- A willingness to work non-traditional hours providing sessions both on-site and virtually.
- Strong documentation and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication, ethics, and professional boundaries
- Professionalism in all interactions with clients, co-workers, and collateral contacts.
